Hi there folks. I've just realised that I haven't blogged this month so I thought I would post some photos of my recent makes using my lovely stash of Emma Godfrey inspired masterboards!

I know it's taken me some time to create some cards, tags and ATCs from the original A4 and 8" square masterboards that I made following Emma's fabulous demos at Port Sunlight but sometimes life gets in the way! But, once I got going I loved my card making sessions. The ATCs were made first for other group challenges but once they were out of the way I could spend time sorting through some PA stamp sets to find some images to complete the cards. I have blogged these masterboards and some of the ATCs I made with them in a previous post but thought it was worth showing them again together with the ATCs I made for Jo Myhill's Circle Journal.

I further embellished one of the ATCs to create a cover for one of the pockets in Jo's art /pocket journal. I used a larger piece of one of the masterboards to decorate the back of the pocket. I've used Nancy Baumiller (Mischief Circus) images on top of the masterboards. Here's a closer image of both sides of the pocket.

Behind the ATC on this side of the pocket I've painted over it with PA Fresco chalk paint - 'Sky' I think, then stamped on top a fabulous Carabelle Studio flower stamp designed by Birgit Koopsen. I love her stamps. I doodled with a white gel pen for added effect. 

So, after making the ATCs I got on with some cards. No need for further explanation really as they speak for themselves. Once they were cut up I added further stamping using various PA stamps from various large sets and minis. However, I was crafting with my best mate Linda Regan at the time so I also borrowed one of her newly acquired Dylusions stamp sets by Dyan Reavely. I had already added black and white paint using the edge of a credit card and various bottle tops and Lego pieces. I played and doodled a bit further with them until they were ready for a sentiment and mounting on various coloured card. The sentiments I've used are mainly Dark Room Door by Rachel Grieg. Hope you like them. 

I'm not sure which PA stamp set this gorgeous little flower is from because it was one of Linda's that I was borrowing at the time. Im pretty sure it was one of Sara Naumann's sets. I have the set with the little bird on and Lin bought this one with the flower on. We sometimes try to be sensible and not buy the same stamps. However, we are not very good at sticking to that plan. I really need this set now! 

This gorgeous little flower and adorable leaf is from one of Lin Brown's early stamp sets: ELB02 - gorgeous isn't it? I used a Pitt pen around the petals to make them stand out further. I just adore Lin Brown's stamps. 

The set above is made using the Dylusions flower set. Might have to invest in those. Finally, I made some note cards. These are approximately 4" x4". 

I still have enough of the masterboards left to make some tags but they're not quite finished yet. It really is a quick and easy way to make a huge stash of cards! I urge you to have a go if you haven't tried it yet.  I would love you to leave a comment so I know you stopped by!
